You will boogie like a decapitated chicken.

"This album was one that caught my ear while hearing it on a great college radio station in Tallahassee, Florida. I bought the album and was not disappointed, and indeed, played the sucker a bunch. Crystal Gazing Luck Amazing is worth getting if you dig the driving sound of mid 60s garage bands. On this album, The Compulsive Gamblers manage to sound fresh and energetic without being entirely retro.
The opener "Way I Feel About You" packs a mean punch. "Pepper Spray Boogie" is an adreniline pumped tune that would make a great soundtrack for (1) someone getting nailed in the peepers with pepper spray or (2) a chicken getting its head lopped off. It has all the spastic drunken nuttiness of someone running down the street on fire or sprinting in circles in a straitjacket, bubba.
"Stop and Think It Over," which I think might be a cover, is surprisingly more sensitive and pensive in contrast to most of the fast paced rockers. The band is tight, and there is solid playing all around--especially some groovy organ and piano.
Again, if you dig the Nuggets or Pebbles or Back from the Grave compilations, you probably can't go wrong with this band. I intend to check out their other songs."
