MUSIC THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE FIRST DAY OF...
Soaring Heart | 09/25/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"...THE REST OF YOUR LIFE! Music for the journey...

The cover art is what first attracted me. When I saw it, I knew I was meant to have the cd. This is amazing art, don't you think? When I listened to the music, I fell in love with the sheer Purity, gentle Beauty and true Joy of it. If you ever need a pick me up for your heart, remember this cd and pick it up and enjoy. I cherish it! CONNECTION displays HEART. This is what I love the most about it.Each song flows into the other yet there are many moods and exquisite beauty. CONNECTION has a tropical paradise feel to it that I love--makes me want to take a cruise! I bought this at first mainly for Indian Springs but I love all the songs now, so hard to pick a favorite. Yet Indian Springs remains very close to my heart--I'm listening to it now. CONNECTION is an instrumental fantasyland! It is so peaceful! Be happy and...Soar!"
Good Nightingale Music

"This group fits in the same genre as Dancing Fantasy, Blue Knights, and Freeze Frame. Very spacey music with catchy, haunting melodies. Some of the songs seem to go nowhere, and are not real flashy, but its still an OK CD.. Fantasy In Blue, is THE best song on the CD, and it has established itself as one of my all-time favorite "space jazz" tunes! This music is very relaxing, and great for chilling out on the deck as the sun sets and the night comes on!!!"
Great CD, but buy the Karunesh edition.

"The Nightingale moniker is a bit confusing...it is not the name of the group, but rather the original record label of the contributing artists. Higher Octave released two CDs,"Light Dance" and "Connection", that appear to be by a group named Nightingale. These are actually compilations, much like those by Narada. Seventy-five per cent of the songs on both CDs come from artist Karunesh's "Colours of Light" CD. The majority of the rest of the songs are by artist Kamal. Both artists are available on the Oreade Music label (successor to Higher Octave, who was successor to Nightingale). These are the EXACT same recordings as on the 'Nightingale' CDs."
