Conscious Roots, a new reggae band hitting the Hawaii music scene, has been on a long journey. A journey full of tears, hopes, countless hours in the studio and dreams finally fulfilled. Who would have guessed that three years ago when these boys met in high school, that one meeting together would change each of their life's path.With twelve &#40:12) originals written by Tyler Teixeira (lead vocals, keyboards) and Damon Cottrell (lead vocals, guitar), the boys sing of love, relationships, and good vibes. "Anything For You" tells a story about what a boy and girl might say when they fall in love. "Me Love You Long Time" is a soulful story of a man who has loved a woman for a long period of time. Their songs will appeal to all lovers of Island Reggae. Daniel Cottrell (bass) and Jazzton Lyons (drums) round out the Conscious Roots rhythm section.With regular performances at the Mai Tai bar, Conscious Roots plans to support this release with in-store performances, music videos, media interviews, live concert performances and media promotion.
