""Saturday Night Special" is Conway's often over-looked hit. despite the protests from brokers objecting to how the song made the broker appear to be money-hungry and amoral, the single coasted into the Top-10 in the summer of 1988. it was a follow-up to the masterful ballad "Goodbye Time", this album's first single. the title track was a hit in early 1989. the album contains a stellar collection of songs and my favorites {besides the hits} are "Your Loving Side", "They Only Come Out at Night", "Throwing Good Love After Bad", and his re-recording of "If You Were Mine To Lose", which he originally recorded back in the mid '60s. the album has this energetic feel to it, a sharp contrast to the 1989 album that followed: "HOUSE ON OLD LONESOME ROAD". "STILL IN YOUR DREAMS" is another great Conway album."
