Enjoyable But Get Back to Brass-Hop!

"Coolbone's "Brass-Hop" album on Hollywood Records was amazing. This is enjoyable New Orleans swing, and an original groove like "Multitude of Blues" is great. But "Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans" is a misfire. Coolbone is about streetwise brass hip-hop, not fractured crooning! These guys are geniuses at what they invented: brass-hop. Get back!"

"If you go back, coolbone started off swinging and 2nd lining. This CD is wonderful, amazing and they did it independently. Multitude of Blues makes you want to go out ballroom dancing. Coolbone also have a CD entitled Brass Vibes which is more brass-hopping. Be on the look out for another funky brass hop CD later this year."
