"Also, for people looking for a sampling of 90's crossover rap-- despite the gangsta-heavy themes, Coolio seemingly had no problems with making it onto radio and video rotations, and his real-life persona was always inviting and articulate-- unlike some of his peers who felt like they had to live up to a thuggish image, Coolio thankfully avoided, for the most part, any major run-ins with the law after his career took off.. Since then, though, he's severed his ties with Tommy Boy-- which is why this compilation is receiving a "quiet" release-- and Coolio runs his own indie label where he plans to release a new album stateside (it's already out overseas). ..."

"This album is a pretty good collection of Coolio's hits over the years and I would recommend it to any rap fan. My fav tracks on the album are Gangsta's Paradise, C U When You Get There, Ooh La La, I Remember, Geto Highlights, and 1,2,3,4 (Sumpin' New). If you are a fan of Coolio then this is essential to have. One thing though, they should have put more of Coolio when he was hardcore, like more songs from It Takes A Thief. But it is still a good album and has all his best hits. Get it"
