"In recent memory, I have not encountered a recording that I enjoyed as much as this labor of love by Discovery House Music artist Corey Emerson. There is not a "bad" cut (a filler track, as in "just to fill space") among the 10 tracks; it's tough for me to pick a favorite. From the heartfelt, soulful ballads to the hopeful, upbeat selections, it's easy to sense that Corey has drunk of the living water in Love's (God's) pure stream. In fact he penned about half of the songs in this recording. The songs, many inspired by Holy Scripture, speak of an honest yearning for an awesome God, a recognition of His grace and mercy, gratefulness for His abiding love, a deep desire to be conformed to His image and for others to share in this hope and healing. Corey's voice is confident and assured, scaling octaves many contemporary Christian artists can only aspire to. More importantly, his musicality and empathy reveal the sincerity of a heart touched by his own message.Do yourself a favor - buy and listen to this CD. Better yet, do your friends and loved ones a favor, and do the same for them.Consistent with the title and lyrics of the first track "Not About Me", the artist writes in the album notes: "A very special thanks to ... my God and Savior, Jesus Christ, for granting me the privilege to use the gifts He's given me for His purposes. He gets all the glory, honor, and praise. I simply get to experience the blessing and the benefit." If I may, I would like to add a special thanks to Corey Emerson for letting us share in the sheer pleasure of listening to this gift."

"There have been very few Christian artists that have moved me the way this album has. From great lyrics to an incredible voice, this guy sings from the heart and its obvious. You will not be disappointed in this CD. You'll want to get two and give one to a friend. He is very clear in who he is singing about. and who is behind the storylines; the Lord. very cool."
