"Delightful interplay of acoustic guitars. The four vocals are well chosen and fun. When they're cookin' I'm reminded of John McLaughlin's "Inner Mounting Flame", but generally, this is much more relaxing and varies throughout. A fan of Tal Farlow, I've admired Larry Coryell's musical ability for much of my life. It's nice to know the "Barefoot Boy" has passed this on to his sons."
Phenomenal playing, togetherness, and variety of styles

"This is an amazing CD! The three guitarists, Larry Coryell and his sons Murali and Julian, work wonderfully together and are fabulous musicians. The bassist and percussionist don't do anything spectacular, but do a very good job of holding down the groove. The variety of styles on this CD is amazing: a wide variety of jazz, blues, fingerpicking. Some tracks have Murali's vocals. All this variety makes this CD very interesting to listen too. And if you're worried about too much variety and not enough coherence, that's not a problem. Despite the variety, this CD is really coherent and holds together well. Definitely a CD to have for anyone who likes an intersting fusion of accoustic jazz styles. Amazing!!"
