"Roberto & Maurizio Opalio are the new kings of the solar system, and their reign will be nothing but superb." -- Brad Rose, Editor, Foxy Digitalis On the fourth volume in the ongoing Cosmic Debris series, MCIAA shares their space with Swedish radical saxophonist Mats Gustafsson, whose 20-year career boasts collaborations that range widely over the contemporary improvised music and noise scenes. Both tracks represent an exemplary encounter between open-minded artists looking for something truly alive and free. On his track, Gustafsson plays tenor and slide sax, weevil sax, and electronics. On MCIAA's track, the space brothers experiment with astral and cosmic guitars, vocals, mouth harmonica, space toys, and burning percussions.
