"This music always reminds me of the 2 years in the early 70s I spent hitchhiking to and around the West Coast. "Hold on its Coming" is about hitchhiking and has a great sound. This is one of Country Joe's best albums of the time, although little known."

"This timeless classic soothed my weary heart when the war looked like it would go on forever; it remains a neverending tribute to the spirit of the soldiers for peace. Priceless."

"I love Country Joe & the Fish religiously, but I've pretty much ignored Country Joe's solo stuff. However, when I saw this album in my favorite record store for $10 I wanted to read some reviews. The three reviews here convinced me that Country Common Sense was to buy it, and it is sublime. I am in love with this record, and I guess I got a steal when I see what used copies are going for here. Long live Country Joe, we need his voice now more than ever!"
