Synopsis

Album Description
DustBowl Records announces the release of COYOTE ZEN Blood of Many Nations, a ten song journey for the mind and spirit created by artist/writer/engineer/producer, Jeffrey Gray Parker. Blood of Many Nations, (with guest musician Marci Von Broembsen, Cape Town, South Africa), combines native flutes, percussion, and many ethnic instruments from around the world to create organic music that is textured with acoustic and electric guitars, piano, synthesizers, digital drums, and the sounds of nature. As you listen, COYOTE ZEN takes you into nature, conjuring up images of sunlight and water, hawks in flight, and soundscapes that soothe the soul. Blood of Many Nations has been featured on American Indian Radio on Satellite programs Different Drums, Earth Songs, Renegade Radio, AlterNative Voices and Native Sounds - Native Voices. John Gregg Sr., National Host and Producer of Native Sounds - Native Voices had this to say, "Took the Coyote Zen cassette with me over the holidays and listened to it while driving through the Rockies and it was awesome." Featured tracks on Blood of Many Nations are "Blood of Many Nations," "Kilimanjaro," and "Buffalo Twins."

"Coyote Zen is...one world, one tribe, one music!"
Great Music!

"I bought this CD when I was on a trip in The Great Smokey Mountains. Not only was it a great accent to the trip itself while driving through the curvacious mountainside, but it is great meditational material. It calms my mind and gets me in my, "Zen" state. I would certainly recommend this CD, Blood of Many Nations, to anyone! I am sure one day I will be seeing their name a bit more frequently. Keep up the great music my friends. Namaste"
Carrying the message ...

"Though we are Cherokee by blood I have always taught my children that, in the end, we are all one tribe. Coyote Zen has succeeded in carrying that same message to the world in a musical format. Their choice of instruments are refreshingly diverse yet blend together perfectly. This album is "ear candy" no matter what your background is! We've shared with folks from preteen to 80something and nearly everyone has wanted to know where they can get their own copy."
