"If you want a thrashing rock n roll album, then this is not for you! This is an album of beautiful, elegant, skillful guitar work, by an obvious master musician. If you let him, Craig Chaquico will take you out of your momentary world, if only for a couple of minutes! This album will allow you to do nothing short of relax. My favourite track at this time, would probably have to be number 4 "Autumn Blue", which also includes Mr. Richard Elliot on saxophone. Don't get me wrong, it is not all mushy, contemplative music. There are tracks on this album that highlight the complexities and talent contained by one Mr Craig Chaquico. If you enjoy the like of Tommy Emmanuel, and other world-renowned guitarists, then this album also belongs in your collection!"

"From Jefferson Starship he hooked his rising star to Higher Octave, first endeavor was "Acoustic Highway", beautiful beyond belief...followed by "Acoustic Planet"(1994), was just as good, on the same plain.Let's get back to this title ~ "A Thousand Pictures", not in the same league with the first two releases, but still a winner...for the stand outs we have ~ "AUTUMN BLUE", featuring Richard Elliot on sax, smooth reflective melody...followed by "ACOUSTIC TRAVELER" and the remix featuring 3rd Force, both have captured the mood and soothing reflection of the genre.You might try other Craig Chaquico releases, all worthy of a good listen ~ "Acoustic Highway"(HOMCD-7050)..."Acoutic Planet"(HOMCD-7070)...please check out my reviews on amazon.com/music.Total Time: 51:05 on 10 Tracks ~ Higher Octave HOMCD-7084 ~ (1996)"

"This album opens as picking up where "Acoustic Planet" was left off, but as well opens into Smooth Jazz territory where Chaquico, here, urbanizes his Smooth Jazz sound. The transition of the two different themes (the more Native New-Age to Smooth Jazz) is a compelling excursion as Chaquico leads onward into muscial destination.Ben.
