CD ReviewsCreed's quality just keeps getting Higher :) danny6101 | Taunton, MA United States | 07/31/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "Before reviewing this CD, I'd like to tell you a little story. My name's Dan, and I've been a Creed fan ever since I heard "My Own Prison" on a local radio station. As soon as My Own Prison was released, I bought the album, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Not only were they a great solid rock band, but the lyrics and singing were incredible. You rarely hear inspirational and poetic lyrics in a rock song. Not so with Creed. When I heard that Creed was releasing another album, Human Clay, I knew I had to get it. So as soon as I had the chance I went out and bought it. I never thought that they could get any better than what I've heard on My Own Prison. They did. It was my absolute favorite CD ever. I took it everywhere I went, even school. I had been listening to it in my Computer Programming class, but forgot to take it out. I realized this on the trip home. The next day early in the morning I ran to the computer before my first period class, hoping to find the CD in the drive, only to realize it was gone. Nowhere to be found. I can't explain how upset I was. So I logged on the Amazon.com a few months later (I had borrowed a friend's CD, but it was about time to return it!) to see buy a new CD, when I found the double CD European import. It had Human Clay AND a bonus disc with some other unreleased songs. I ordered it and received it the other day. It's the best set of CDs ever! I love Human Clay, but on the bonus disc there's a the acoustic version of "What's This Life For?" I had to fall in love with it because it was my favorite Creed song on My Own Prison. It sounds just as great played with an acoustic guitar as it does with the electric. I also love to Whom it May Concern. It's Creed, after all! Well, to make a long story short, I think it's an excellent CD set and no Creed fan will be disappointed. Sorry I wasn't so articulate, but I'm tired! :)" Awesome! Pit | 08/13/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "This CD is perhaps my favorite out of all the ones I own. The 2nd CD is particularly great. "Is This The End?" is probably my favorite Creed song, if not my favorite song, period. It's so powerful, even moreso than "Higher", "With Arms Wide Open", and the multitude of other singles Creed has put out. It's a shame these types of CDs aren't issued in the US, but that they must be imported from around the world. A must-have for ANY Creed fan (especially if you don't own "Human Clay" already!)."
