"I saw these guys back in the 60s....in my mid-late teens...and they were as good live as they were on record...I still have the vinyl lp....



I absolutely refuse to get raped for some bogus scalpers price...just because this CD has been yanked out of print....it's a good cd...but not worth what the scalpers are demanding....



I wish the record industry would just rerelease this and give the rest of us a fair shot at acquiring it at a normal price....and put these bloodsucking scalpers out of business

Perfect Summary Collection of Underappreciated Band

"It's unfortunate that the Twin Cities based Crow is primarily known as a One Hit Wonder. And not really a huge smash hit at that. After cracking the Top 20 with "Evil Woman Don't Play Your Games With Me", in the fall of 1970,
Crow was poised to fly further with several followup releases.
Sounding a bit like Steppenwolf, the band left us with a legacy of great biker rock. Recording for a very small label with little promotion, the subsequent songs just didn't advance the group, although several of them shimmer with golden rock. flourishes and most of them are on on this release.
Crow nails the definitive version of "Don't Try To Lay No Boogie On the King Of Rock & Roll", rocks the house down with "Cottage Cheese",and turns in a super fine pop song (that should have been a hit) called "Time To Make a Turn". Other highlights include "Gonna Leave a Mark" and their blistering take on "Slow Down".
The BIG question is: WHY HASN'T THIS CD BEEN RE-RELEASED? It's been out of print for over 10 years and there were very few to begin with!"
