"Crystal Gayle's new cd provides a rare treat into the classic standards that have shaped the country's music. Her renditions are flawless and Crystal's voice is well suited to these timeless classics made new again. My favorites are You Made Me Love You, Hallelujah I Love Him So, and my #1 favorite is What'll I Do - NO ONE singer can sing a ballad like Crystal - the emotions just ebb and flow so well.Songs on the album are: You Belong To Me - Cry Me A River - You Made Me Love You - Falling In Love Again - All My Tomorrows - Goody Goody - What'll I Do - Sentimental Journey - I'm Beginning To See The Light - It Had To Be You - More Than You Know - Smile - Hallelujah I Love Him So - For All We Know"

"I have always loved Crystal Gayle. However, I always thought she should explore and perform more in the jazz blues arena. She has a gorgeous voice and style. This album displays what she can do with her voice. This is not a country album, if that is what you are looking for. She is an accomplished songbird and this album proves her talents. I know Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper have recently recorded new albums of old classic standards. I only have one thing to say, move over you two and pave the road for a great Crystal Gayle return. I only hope that Crystal will do a follow up to this album with a volume two in the next year or so. This album was worth the wait. However, I hope Crystal releases new albums more frequently in the years to come."
Simple, beautiful interpretations

"This is a CD where the singer really stands out! Crystal's beautiful voice is accompanied by simple orchestrations that gives all the space this great singer deserves. Theres no overproducing and trickin' here! On the title song "All My Tomorrows" she's accompanied only by a string bass and a piano and on the first minute of "Goody Goody" she's doing it to the beat only of the string bass and the drums. I love the honesty and frankness in this CD. And, most of these well known standards come out fresh as ever. I've never heard more simple and touching versions of "More Than You Know" (my favourite, if I can name one) and "For All We Know". I've had this CD for more than two weeks now and wanted to wait until writing this review to see if I'd change how I feel about this CD. Well, I haven't."
The Lady Can Sing the Ballads

"The Coal Miner's Other Daughter always has had a flair for the
ballad. Even when she was riding high on the country charts with
her albums, she often included a standard like "Lover Man"
or "God Bless the Child". Her previous CD, HEART AND SOUL, was
devoted to the songs of Hoagy Carmichael. Now in this dreamy collection of proven standards, Crystal once again shines with
such songs as "All My Tomorrows" and "More than You Know". She
has always surrounded herself with great musicians and this time
is no different. She continues her long association with Jay
Patten. I hope this album does well. People who only thought of her as a country artist will be pleasantly surprised."
Timeless classics that somehow sound brand new

"Somehow Crystal's style and voice have made these timeless classics sound like never before heard songs that you already know all the words to. The CD is like revisiting an old friend, both with Crystal and the so long forgotten but yet well remembered songs of the past. One listen to the CD and you will be hooked and wishing for even more songs than the CD holds. With so many albums behind her and hoards of music styles, I'm glad to see her back into music making, and what a way to come back! The music, her voice, the songs she picked for the CD truly shows her musical abilities. If you want to go back in time in a modern way, you have to hear this CD!"
