"One of the greatest reggae albums ever written! You don't even have to be a pot smoker to enjoy it. They give king Bob a run for his money with this album."

"Look, I'll give any culture album I've herd or own (which would acount for most of them) a 5 star rateing, but this is one of the top 5 (my personal favoite is "Trust Me"). The only album by this truely magnificient reggae band I'm not too keen on is "Humble African",sounds overproduced with too many hooks and grooves, almost discolike, not what I've come to expect from Joseph Hill and co., But back to International Herb. Some tracks that stand out are "International Herb", "Chiney Man", & "I Tried". Overall a masterpiece of roots reggae by a truely unique band. If you're looking for a first Culture album, this one or "Trust Me" would be very good starting points, if you're a die hard Culture fan and don't have this one all I can say is, "Why?". R.I.P. Joseph Hill, you will be missed, One Love."
