A Polish-Language Album for All the World

"I live near a heavily Polish neighborhood in Chicago, and stumbled into this gem of a band in a jukebox at a nearby bar. I know very little Polish, but that doesn't keep these songs from being catchy. This is a group that has all the beautiful harmonies and pop sensibilities of the Beatles, without any of their tunes sounding like rip-offs. These guys are obviously fantastic musicians as well- some of the songs are progressive in their tempo and mood changes. There are some interesting "exotic" eastern European instruments, such as a Balalaika on track 10 and some twangy old fashioned lute-like instrument on track 1 (sorry, I can't understand the Polish liner notes). I recommend this to anyone who can appreciate great music."
