""London" continued their explorations in funk, soul and jazz.
As always their funk output is never in question. "I've Got My Mind Made Up", "Magic", "Shake It" and "Hypnotize" are brilliant! The ballad arrangements stand out on this album than on previous efforts. "Good Morning Heartache" has Sarah joined by harp, guitar and strings, while on "Lonely" just a piano accompanies her plaintive voice. "Falling" is an amazing closer with its plucked strings mimicking the ticking of time while supported by an undercurrent of phat funky bass. The old school soul of "There Can Be" is uplifting as it is reassuring. Bluey Maunick of Incognito joins them on the Brazilian escapade "Running Away". This album is a great example of what London and the UK has to offer musically. They eventually re-released "London" adding a great cover of Michael Jackson's "Rock with You" and a remix CD which included the great Masters at Work remix of "Hypnotize". Well worth it!!!"
