"This cd is FRESH. If you listen to this album and don't like it then you don't understand what you're listening to. Do your homework and listen to it again. With Let 'Em Bleed, DJ Clay has done what hasn't been done before on Psychopathic Records/Hatchet House. Where else can you hear Esham on a track with Boondox? The R.O.C. rapping over an oldschool Mostasteless beat? Shaggy rapping over Twiztid's Fall Apart from Freek Show? This album was made for the Juggalo's. Shaggy does the beat and scratches on the Get Ya Wicked On Remix and Violent J even has beats for his Frankenstein solo track and the track for Blaze & Monoxide. This album is jam packed with fresh exclusive-ness. Violent J, Shaggy, Madrox, Monoxide, Blaze, Boondox, & even Esham let you know what's up on DJ Clay's Let 'Em Bleed Mixxtape Vol. 1, endorsing the album and standing behind Clay throughout the entire record, letting you know that the Mixxtape series ain't nothing to sleep on.

"there's a little problem i have with these mixxtapes psychopathic is releasing. i have never bought a mix tape from anyone so i didn't know that the DJ has to yell over all the music every track of the CD. The new songs as well as the remixes were nice to hear, but i couldn't enjoy them nearly as much as i wanted to due to the fact that DJ Clay had to let everyone know every 10 seconds that he is the one who put this CD together. I just wish i could get these remix albums free of the DJ curse that plagues mix tapes. (I picked both Let 'em Bleed 1 and 2 up at the same time, so i was doubly annoyed) The discs are worth listening to, but be warned if you are annoyed by this little problem like i was."
