"This is the first and by far the best DMX album ever. I have all of them and all of them are good but this blows them all away hands down. Let Me Fly is the best song on the album. All Rap lovers gotta pick this cd up."

"DMX shows that thugs can spit knowledge aswell as threats. The intro is him talking to himself and then he rings the gongs and it's lights out. "Ruff Ryders" anthem is still one of the realest cuts. "Get at me dog" another street classic. DMX shows that murder can be as poetic as life with the scary cut "X is comming". "Damien" is a story that haunts men who take favors, and "How's in going down" is a classic song for the hunnies that any thug would say to that new projects. The "Crime story" is 3 and a half minutes of NYPD blue for the other point of view, along with ATF. He flips the script with the "Prayer" and " Convo" begging God to forgive him for his Dark side. and then he raps it up with one of the hottest cuts i've ever heard, "Niggas done started somthing" features the Lox who deliver gangsta verses and it contains easily Mase's hardest and best verse ever, then the Dark Man Kills it with murder fiending flows and wordplay that makes you not call him just another 2Pac. One of my top 8 fav. albums, a classic from track 1 to track 19. a masterpeice."
