"DMX is obviously a very good rapper. The Great Depression is a great addition to his past works.Who We Be: This song is OK, everyone seems to know it, but compared to the rest of the album its OK
Trina Moe: This song is Awesome. It has a great beat and the lyrics are original
We Right Here: This song is DMX's best work to date. Every line in this song is tight and so is the beat. The Video is awesome
Bloodline Anthem: A great Anthem for the new record label, BLOODLINE
Shorty Was The Bomb: I heard this is a true story. It is a good song and tells an interesting story
Damien 3: NOT AS GOOD AS THE PAST DAMIENS, but it is one of the best songs on the Album
When I'm Nothing: Great Beat, Great Song. Not only is DMX good, but Stephanie Mills also shines in this song
I Miss You: This song is OK. The video is terrible. Not the usual for DMX, the song is about his dead grandma. Its sad, but it needs to be told. Faith Evans is on this song aswell.
Number 11: This song is Great. Street Fight story that sounds realistic.
I'ma Bang: Great track, DMX has his most energy ever in this track, he yells like crazy, and if you mind cursing I recommend getting the clean version, he curses alot in this track
You Could Be Blind: This song is OK, average beat and average hook for a DMX song
A Minute For Your Son: This song is very realistic, DMX wants forgiveness for his sins once againGET THIS ALBUM"
Boring DMX album?...please

"I would like to say, that DMX always improved his style...his lyrics and his beats!
so if you listen to his first album and "the great depression" you will recognize that!
Just put yourself in the position of ANY rapper in the game;
if you would listen to DMX'z album you would get DEPRESSED!4 real!why? watch his style(better;his styles ,because on the bloodline anthem he busts plenty styles)!I don't think that any rapper is as hard as DMX! HIP-HOP is WAR and only strong Mc's will survive!
so DMX is a survivor!"

"This album is very good there are some good catchy songs on it.
The lyrics are strong and he never raps to slow or to fast.
But the only problem is after a month or something you may get bored of it so it's always good to have another DMX Album because they all sound different. If your a 100% hardcore rapping fan this is for you, and so are all the other DMX albums!!"
Unbelievable, he's done it again

"Waaw, DMX is back and badder than ever. I never expected him to make something better than "Blood of my..." but here He is : Almost as good as that other album. GREAT PHAT ALBUM. not following trends, not being commercial, not betraying his own unique sound. GREAT Depression brings us GREAT happiness"
