"I didn't feel these guys first couple of singles.. but i decided that i'd give them a chance at least. So i popped it into my receiver and the bass broke my rear view mirror. it's crazy how creative the basslines are to these tracks. Like i said.. the first 2 singles, i don't care for.. but the rest of the cd is actually cool. Not much lyrical talent.. but that really doesnt matter anymore. The songs will catch ya ear. A lot of people have stopped me and asked me who i was listening to and didn't expect these guys to put out a hot cd either. It's definitely worth the money. :)"

"This album is SOLID. They have a similar style that was found on Outkast's debut. Though Outkast has moved on to a different style since then, it's nice to hear a new group bring back that same vibe. It's sad that this album is so underrated. However, with such a solid debut, I think real heads will take wind and eventually Da Back Wudz will get the shine that they deserve."

"Wen i first heard backwudz first single u got to love me i thought this is a tight single by a new group but i was still sceptical. then they came out with i dont like the look of it wich is a tight song and very creative but like most new groups songs like these end up defining the group and place a gimic on them never alowing them 2 get ride of the title "the guys that sing the umpa lumpa song". then i went ahead and took a risk buying the cd. man what a good investment of 10 dollars. these guys are raping about things completly different then most atl rap right now. trap music the anoying snap music and crunck music. this is about issuies that everyone goes though preassurs to do wrong nagging girlfriends. this album reminds me of outkasts debut southernplayeristicadilacmusic. their flow is also very similar to outkasts. that fast dilivery and tag team type rap style.
the cd is produced mainly by milwaukee black with very interesting kanye west like beats. the intro 2 me is the best track. i dont like the look of it is a very creative song. "i got the beat from willy wonka and hattas mad cuss they canta". u got 2 love me like i said was the first single. nas and slim thug are on the remix witch is the outro. killer mike bohagen big gipp sleepy brown and george clinton also appear on the project.
this is a great debut cd that shows a bright future for this duo. buy this album it is real good and u will not be dissapointed expecialy bc since they are new u should not be expecting much then u listen 2 them and are shock at how talented they are.

"When I picked up this album I expected another Lil Jon-esque ATL album. However, I was pleasently surprised. They can, if they become a bit less comercial, become like oodie Mobb/Outkast. Their best song is easily "Feeling Lonely"."
Great album - mainly cuz its like finding a diomand on floor
