CD Reviews

A breath of fresh air

"Oh! Dear Lord,

I can't believe I've actually found Dakota on cd. I bought their album in 1980 when it first came out. I was in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany when I bought this gem of an album in the PX. I got rid of most of my albums when everything switched over to cd's including Dakota. I've been searching for this on cd for many, many years. My favorite song is Lady and I also like the song Restless too. This needs to be a must for every rock 'n' roller from the babyboomer era. Dakota does have their own website. check it out. I believe they may still be together too."

"Originally released as an LP in 1980, this CD is an update with bonus tracks. The band was popular in the Wilkes Barre, PA area and I enjoyed concerts at several venues. It's a wonderful look back at the music we enjoyed growing up and that we have grown to appreciate even more when it is not readily available."
