"The magnificent, glamourous picture on the cover (Dalida-goes-to-Hollywood) is worth price already. Her troathy voice serves her well on french pop songs of the period - as usual here is a big portion of covers, but it sounds better when Dalida covers italian standards ("Ciao,Ciao Bambina","Marina","Luna Caprese") then her takes on american pop.Paul Anka's "You Are My Destiny" and Sarah Vaughan's "Brokenhearted Melody" somehow don't work so well althought Dalida had beautiful voice. On the other hand, she sound very confident at the start of "Hava Naguila" where her pronuciation is perfect, and then song switch to french - strange experiment but still interesting to hear. The last song on CD is duet with a very nice male voice who is conspiciously absent from liner notes as he is not even here."Love In Portofino" sung in italian is perfect, unforgettable romantic Dalida."
