"Dalida was not french. She was egyptian... and spent her life trying to overcome what she saw as her shortcomings. Her brother, Orlando, was an important comfort to her. I was a fan and was living in Paris just a block from Dalidia's house when she left this world. It was tragic and beautiful. The French have great respect for artists and when someone of Dalida's stature passes, the entire country pauses, reflects, and appreciates that persons contributions. We certainly have much to learn about that here. Listen to Salut Salud (Hey, Bastard). C'est vrai t'a fait fortune dans tous les casinos...Bisoux"
