Synopsis

Album Description
A reflective journey through an expanse of musical emotions, these original contemporary piano compositions, colored gently with flutes, horns, and strings, awaken images of yesterday while inviting dreams of tomorrow. Released in October, 1999, Reflections is an extraordinary follow-up to Chadburn's critically acclaimed debut album, solo piano, released in 1998. Featured on the album (in its final track) is singer/songwriter Tom Nichols, performing the pop song, "Stay With Me," co-written by Nichols and Chadburn. Other musicians performing on the album include Jaared Arosemena, Karin Berkley, Aaron Bertoglio, Mike Crotty, Rainey Foster, Emil George, Joe James, Rob Magruder, Wes Nichols, Jim Robeson, Chris Shieh, and Jim Turner.

CD Reviews

Indescribably beautiful; a transcendent experience

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I popped a tape of "Reflections" into my car stereo this morning for the commute to work and quickly entered a calmer, gentler rush hour than I had encountered before. Listening to the simple, rich music while looking at the gorgeous autumn landscape delivered my spirit to a much mellower place than the highway my body was cruising. (I had to be careful not to get too mellow; those red taillights come up fast in the race to work.) I recommend this for times when you need assistance becoming calm and centered, when you are doing your yoga, or when you are perched on a hillside loving life."
