Our Family Favorite for eight years

"This Christmas album has been played every Christmas multiple times so it's time to switch from cassette to CD. It is one album that the kids particularly love and ask for, and if it is misplaced from last year's Christmas, that is not good and it must be found. They're now ages 17 through 22 and it's still a favorite with all of us. It's of course peaceful, as the label implies, but lively enough with instrumentation varying from piano, orchestra, bells, woodwinds, artfully interwoven with choir, birds, surf, a crackling fire etc in the background. The classics are reinterpreted, nothing heavy, but enjoyable enough for a real classical devotee such as myself. For peace, perhaps in more ways than one, try it!"

"This is one of the my favorite Christmas CDs. The music is so soothing and non-boring, and another one of those literally music to the ears. It never tires after repeared listenings. If you enjoy this CD, you might want to look at Medwyn Goodall's Christmas Tapestry. These albums are absolutely charming, amazing!"
