Amazon.com"Christmastime is Nunsense time at Mt. St. Helen's school...." Yes, those madcap nuns are back, this time with an all-Christmas program that is sure to please fans. The Little Sisters of Hoboken are about to put on their annual Christmas program--a ballet based on The Nutcracker starring Sister Mary Leo as the Sugar Plum Fairy--when disaster strikes. Don't worry too much about the plot, as this CD is mostly a diverse collection of Christmas, and anti-Christmas, songs by series mastermind Dan Goggin. "Santa Ain't Comin' to Our House" is a country tune, "In the Convent" rocks with a nod to Aretha Franklin, and "It's Better to Give" is a big gospel number, while "We Three Kings" promises frankincense, gold, and... a salad shooter! It's not all silliness, though. "A Christmas Carol" cleverly weaves together the titles of numerous carols, but regardless of that device it's a lyrical, inviting song, and "The Christmas Box" is a warm ballad about Christmas love that deserves to become a classic. --David Horiuchi
