"This album features all original music written and performed by
Detroit based musician Dan Scott. The title track, Closer, is an upbeat rock song that hits the deck running. Scott demonstrates his musical prowess with a wide array of instruments. You quickly forget that he is billed most often as lead guitarist. Its obvious his musical talents are far beyong the mastering of one instrument. The other two songs, "I Come To You" and "I Have Not Seen Your Face" are equally pleasant songs that demostrate the same musical mastery as "Closer". "I Have Not Seen Your Face" is my favorite. It provides the perfect blend of rock and religion and is what I like to describe as "Gospel Rock". In a nutshell "Closer" proves what many of us have known for years, Dan Scott is a musical force that gets better and stronger with every project. I give this CD a "Strong Buy" and "Don't Miss" recommendation."
