"My mother died suddenly last February, and even though I had listened to The Color of Light many times before then, it helped me tremendously in my grieving and healing. I have also sent this CD to friends suffering from cancer and other illness, and everyone has thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful music. This is my favorite of Dana Cunningham's CD's because I think it's the most complicated and interesting for me. I listen to many types of music, and for me, this albumn is true joy."
I love this CD

"I absolutely love Dana's music. This is not a predictable, boring new age album that sounds like every other. Dana is clearly a brilliant pianist who plays with passion, depth and abundance. Her gorgeous music evokes a peacefulness and joy that cannot be described; one must listen and listen again. There is such a depth to Dana's music that you never tire of the songs; instead you continue to delight in the nuances of the pieces that you didn't notice before.
It is great background music for a gathering of friends, great for meditation or prayer, great when you need some peace while driving down the road. Hope you love it as much as I do."
Wonderful

"I am speechless with longing and desire... words cannot express the feelings conjured when listening to this album... this is why God make music, I suppose. It will take you to the silver stream and float you down in a boat made of golden reeds. Voices, cello, guitar and piano and more take you to worlds unknown and known yet long-forgotten... in misty hills and heavens above... silver moons and stars overhead, bright foliage drifting down... floating like lunar moths over a crystal moon.
Not to be missed, in any case. No matter where you are.
Take this trip. You will remember it as long as you live.
"5 stars and more, in the heavens above....""

"The CD, The Color of Light by Dana Cunningham is very difficult to find in stores. Maybe that is because it is difficult to characterize. The music has a classically inspired, new age orientation. Beyond the ambient chill of most new age pianist though, Dana performs a number of ballads that weave from one to the next. Accompanied by simple and yet ample background, the sound is rich and fulfilling.
Although I've seen other CDs by this artist, the track "Flying over Water" caught my attention and had me searching to find this CD. It is both haunting and soothing. The rest of the CD does not disappoint. I highly recommend it for your listening pleasure."
