"Off the lights, pop this disc into your player and let the tracks send a chill down your spine. I saw this film in the theater and i am able to get the same sense of anxiety whenever the score plays. You are able to picture the fog and mist laden countryside and the dark woods by just listening to the music. This album is a must have to all soundtrack lovers."
"The Heart of the Hollow, is now awake an not asleep"

"This soundtrack is totally awesome! I think this is one of Danny Elfman's best since the first "Batman 1989". Sleepy Hollow is most def the best Holloween movie ever. I really enjoyed the old school monster movie setting, I've even got more great news, Danny Elfman is going to score again another great soundtrack this year. He's signed on to do the errie score for the new 2009 version of "THE WOLFMAN" now thats going to be really sick. I can't wait for this next film. I love everything creepy, action packed and exciting piece of music he does, from start to finish. I like to draw an paint, I use Danny Elfman's music as an inspiration to my artwork and comic book drawings. He's one of the best. I just hope the new Wolfman sounds just like Sleepy Hollow. I have a feelings that it's going to go in that direction. I like the old school feel, an the time period it takes place in. Elfman knows how to give his listeners and movie viewers what they want to hear an watch, in terms of a horror movie or action film. Danny Elfman is going to go down in history."
One of the best scores ever written

"This score is the best part of Sleepy Hollow. As far as I am concerned, Danny Elfman's score IS the star of this film, not any of the actors. His music is an essential part of the movie. And yet, it is a creepy heart pounding adventure that stands alone. I liked the movie, but I absolutely loved the score. I purchased it from Amazon the very next day.
I highly recommend that every one else does too, before the Halloween rush."
A Decapitating Musical Ride.

"Danny Elfman, the genius behind the scores of "Batman" & Edward Scissorhands," is in fine form once again as he creates a decapitating musical ride to accompany Tim Burton's wonderful retelling of Washington Irving's very short story "Sleepy Hollow." The haunting, scary and romantic themes complement the grand images on screen. A marvel to hear, and behold. The perfect Halloween movie and soundtrack."
