"Danny Kirwan is probably unknown to most mainstream fans of the later Fleetwood Mac, but his contributions to the earlier incarnation of the band were tremendous in the four years he was one of their lead guitarists as well as a singer/songwriter, between 1968 and 1972. Brilliantly talented, he significantly shaped their entire sound as they transitioned from a straight blues band to pop-rock. This album, a follow-up to his excellent Second Chapter --or even better, the very high-quality demo tracks for Second Chapter, put out on their own CD entitled Ram Jam City-- is absolutely great. It really demonstrates the range of Danny's talents and musical interests, and not only is the guitar work wonderful, he is in fantastic voice as well. Tracks such as "I Can Tell," "Windy Autumn Day," and "I Can't Let You Go" are lively, energetic and very satisfying. "Angel's Delight" is another in a long line of very beautiful, intensely lyrical and moving songs by Danny, and his cover of "Look Around You" is masterful. This is absolutely worth every penny, no matter what the price!"
