"i got this on the cheap mainly for the song "angel queen" because the kitaro synthesizer arrangement is one of the best in musical history. the other songs are 1980 radio-friendly pop. but the lyrics are much more intelligent and sincere than i expected. the lead vocal is outstanding throughout. unlike the christina aguilera's and mariah carey's of today, she sings in a pure, simple style without adding any extra notes or syllables. this should have been more successful because it's obvious everyone involved worked very hard."
