Crafted for a more sophisticated taste in music, the CD combines the elements of Adult Rock and Modern Jazz, to bring together a sound that will be enjoyed by a wide range of music lovers. Influenced by artists as diverse as Brian Ferry and Sade to Depeche Mode and Squeeze, Dark Franklin's first CD could be used to calm down after a trying day or as background music for a romantic dinner with someone close. Mixed to enhance the interplay between the instruments of the band, the emphasis is clearly on the music as a whole, and not on an individual performer, giving the CD a smooth, adult feel - easy to listen to no matter what the listener's taste in music happens to be.
