"As good as it gets for late 80's style pure girl-singer power Britpop. Just played it the ohter day and it sounds better than ever. Love to see one of these new teeny popsters (Hilary Duff) cover one of these tracks instead of lame Go-Go's tunes."

"After 15 years, I still listen to this album often (as well as the other Buds' CDs). Why do labels (in this case Columbia) let great stuff like this go out of print???"

"If you like late 80's pop-alternative bands with female lead singers such as PRIMITIVES and VOICE OF THE BEEHIVE then you will like THE DARLING BUDS. This is their debut album and it's the only one I own. If you haven't heard the Darling Buds yet then check out "Let's Go Round There"."
One of my favorite albums

"this is one of the most fun, exuberant, and exciting pop punk records of all time (emphasis on POP) but has the buzzsaw/C86 guitar sound going for it too ala THE PRIMITIVES with top notch female vocals and excellant harmonies. they got pretty bad a couple of albums later... i think grunge confused them. my favortie song from this band is actually a b side called
"marys got to go." not only is that the one of the best song titles of all time the actual song is sickly sweet fast super catchy with an almost childlike exuberance or quality to it... look for it hookers."
