Wonderful, peaceful, inspiring

"I discovered Darrell at a concert where I live, and was blown away not just with his talent, but his warmth with the audience.

He's a remarkable performer and one of those excellent regional (he lives in Portland, Oregon) artists who often gets overlooked amidst the commericalization of music. There's even another piano playing Grant in Portland who gets more publicity, but he's no better than Darrell ... actually he's not as good.

The positivity of this album is so inspiring, from "People Get Ready" to "Shower the People", two cover songs.

But clearly Darrell shines with his own material, especially "Family", "Shine", and "Another Time" -- all smooth, well-produced, and extremely encouraging.

Guest vocalist Lari White stands out on "Shine" and "Another Time."

This is an excellent CD but an underrated artist!"
