His melodies, at times complex lyrics, and superior instrumentation add up to one of the best albums of this genre to come come down the pike in a long time. The backup musicians are more than equal to the task and this release is a must for anyone interested in hearing a first class musician and singer-songwriter."

"I met Darrell Scott back in 1987 when he played clubs in the Northeast with several friends of mine. I loved his voice, his playing and his lyrics then, and I love them even more now. He's a master musician and songwriter. All of his albums are "must-haves" for anyone who appreciates truly gifted musicians."

"Every time that I hear Darrell Scott I am more impressed. I was even more impressed with his performance on Market Square (Aug 2000) in Knoxville, TN with Tim O'Brien. They played a great set, but the standouts were the Darrell Scott numbers (sorry Tim). He has one of the smoothest voices that I've ever heard. A standout in any genre."
