"This album just lets us further know how limitless this brother's talent really is. This album has something on it for the young, the not-so-young-anymore, the young-at-heart, and the saints. Broken is a definite must-have for your gospel music library. GO GET IT!!!! and get ready for your blessing!!"
Love the worship songs

"This is definitely a good junior album for Darwin. What made me really like Darwin in the first place, was his second album and he had a worship song on it, that I loved, making me want to hear more of that style from him. Now he came out with his third album and has three worship songs that helps me to become more intimate with God. It's a great album! I also like "Nobody Like Jesus", it's a good praise song that can lead into worship."
Something about it!!!

"My wife and I got the chance to get the album after he came to our church. I'll tell you hands down this album is awesome. "Nobody like Jesus" is one of my favorite cuts. Also "Unexplainable", "Thank you" is something that gets my wife going. Don't get me wrong I love the whole album. Trust me this album gets you going and gets you excited about the Lord. I'll tell you there is no shame in praising his name."
Superb job

"I'm not sure if I am the first person to review this album, but I know I won't be the last. Man, let me tell you....Darwin Hobbs is awesome! To top it off, he worked with top rate producers throughout the entirety of the project(i.e.-Kevin Bond, Tommy Sims, Mike City-who wrote a song for Brandy). This album will not allow you to keep it to yourself. You'll want to go and tell a friend. His song with Shirley Murdock, "Nobody Like Jesus", is a beautiful ballad that is sure to have your hands in the air. "Break Me/Draw Me" may have you in tears by the time he finishes with it. It speaks of our need for God to shape us, mold us, and make us better than what we are. Hobbs is at his best when worship is going forth. It's incredible. "The Light" is a tight little funk groove that is sure to get heads bobbing. I don't have the cover with me, but I think Tommy Sims penned this one. Phat!! "Unexplainable" is another little groove that has deep meaning. It proclaims that God is always confounding us and when we think we have him figured out, he does something else totally mind-blowing. Darwin even has a song to his wife, "Beautiful to Me", which may be a selection in every wedding this spring and summer. It's a really nice song. As I said before, all the producers are top notch and there's even one guy who plays the drums, bass, and keys on one song. Wish I could do that. Anyway, Darwin just seems to get better and better with each project. To top it off, he's even lost a little weight. The more I hear him the more he sounds like a hybrid mix of Michael McDonald and Luther Vandross. He is quickly becoming one of my favorite solo artists. I don't think this album is better than Smokie Norful's, but it's not running too far behind. Wonderful mix of Praise & Worship, Funk/R&B, and good-ol Gospel Music. Definitely a must have and that's why I give it an A+. Be BlessedP.S.-That's enough writing..I'm going to get back to my CD now"
