it contains both this album and an earlier gem; "Getting some fun out of life" - Getting Some Fun out of Life ...

These two CDs (and particularly the double pack mentioned above) are recommended to all fans of classical jazz and all those who like to see a creative reworking of the classics (Strayhorn, Beiderbecke, Cohn, Ellington...), and some new material wordy of the greatest past masters...

And, yes, did I mention how well Frishberg plays the piano and how good are his accompanying players?
