Mrs Lightning's Valentine is an incredibly lush and rich mingling of rock and pop. The project was mixed by Russ Long (Sixpence/kiss me) and mastered by Bob Ludwig (the best in the business). Calling on both the british influences of Elton John and Queen and the american influences of Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen, Dave Pardue has with this debut effort created a masterpiece. The album has as it's centerpiece the title track, Mrs Lightning's Valentine, a deep metaphorical rock epic reminiscent of Stairway To Heaven and Bohemian Rhapsody. This is flanked by superbly crafted sexy rockers and emotionally power-packed ballads, culminating in a blissfull finishing track. Other album highlights include a duet with Kim Carnes (Who Do You Love) and a guest performace backing vocal by Jimmy Griffen of Bread. This album is a MUST for rock fans!!
