"After eagerly awaiting the arrival of this CD I was completely disappointed by what I got. There are a couple of good rockin' songs that are fun to listen to. Nothing you haven't heard 1000 times before but still fun. The jazz songs don't really sound right. As a big Billie Holiday fan I can tell you his phrasing is as boring as it gets. David Clayton-Thomas sounds like a very pale ghost of the man that sang "Go Down Gambling" or "Lucrecia MacEvil" all those years ago. His voice is now frail and his off-key singing can make your hair stand on end. I can't believe he really cares about this recording. The band, as great as they are independently, sounds like they slept through this recording. Nothing like the interaction I saw at the Blood, Sweat & Tears concert at the Empire Theatre in Belleville last summer. I don't want to paint a terrible picture here, I have infinite respect for his work with Blood, Sweat and Tears but without them: Forget It!"
