"When the first couple of bars have played on this new release from our perennial local favorite, Dave Glaser, you feel springtime pulsing in your veins, and you know that "Clover" is the unequivocal anthem for bare feet in the grass, watching the clouds. Following this, we encounter the wisened "Knowledge is Protection", a song whose real truth lies simply in its title; "Reunion" a melody for anyone who has retraveled old paths; "The Well" and its textured story within a story of our own wells; "Filling the Box", a song we understand as we understand ourselves better, and many more. Dave Glaser has not only created a fabulous album with Reunion, it seems as if he has had a reunion within himself, thus creating a musical autobiography of his feelings and his journey through life. It is an album that offers many different stylings of music, sweet melodies, insightful and wise lyrics, and most importantly, it keeps the listener actively listening. This self-produced album features many of the names that we have known over the years including John Van Dyke, Todd Kruezburg, and Dan McLoughlin to name a few. However the most intriguing aspect of this release is that most of it, including the instrumentation, harmonies, and song writing is primarily by Dave. Reunion is not a CD you'll readily tire of, as each time you listen, you will find yourself turning over something that you missed before - a new insight, a new story, or a new harmony, and it is always a joy. Simply put, Reunion is truly captivating."
