"This is a great album that relatively few blues enthusiasts know about. Honeyboy's playing is unorthodox but very strong and I guess that's a good way to describe the album as a whole. As a musician who traveled the Delta in its heyday and then moved up to Chicago just in time for the electric boom, Honeyboy is able to bridge the two distinct styles perfectly. While this album is not in the least bit polished, it is a great rockin' album from the first note to the last. Highly recommended for anyone interested in digging into the blues past the big names. Makes you feel like you're sitting on a porch in Mississippi."
