(4 out of 5 stars)
"Huge artists and remixers, and some of the most thumpin peak hour dance tracks on the first half, and a second half that gets harder and darker with tribal electro house-at which point things get a little boring. Knapp admits trying to appease all tastes in the liner notes, but his mix CDs are so much better when they remain consistent. Even so, this disc features a load of long versions and some hard to find stuff:
1. 6 PM (Knight & Ten Velden mix)...kings of tomorrow (6:01) (sexy, tribal, female vocal)
2. I Will (ellis miah original mix)...Dolce (8:00) (Wouldn't expect anything less than this peak hour diva anthem from Dolce)
3. Gimme some love...DJs are Alive (5:39) (an all star collaboration-scumfrog, d-fuse, scribble, static revenger and Kristine W. A Hard electro house track)
4. It makes a difference (moran & denbroeder mix)...kim English (9:32) (Kim English remixed by Tony Moran-doesn't get much better than this.)
5. Trying to get to you (tracy young mix)...Jason DeMarco (5:02) (SEXY male vocal track)
6. On My Own...Offer Nissim with Maya (4:36) (awesome-a nissim track that didn't make it to the full length CD)
7. Musica 6002...alma matris (4:11) (Party Crasher!!! I really wish alma matris would just go away. Typical boring electro tribal stuff)
8. con la musica (afro boogie remix)...ralphi rosario & Martin Fry (5:07) (keeping with the dub theme, but not all that interesting)
9. Number 1 (chumbomundo rework)...goldfrapp (7:39) (a pretty rare Superchumbo remix of this huge Goldfrapp track, gets a bit tired after a while).
10. Is it Hot (martin fry mix)...Ralphi Rosario & Martin Fry (6:25) (again, repetitive tribal)
11. Like Paradise...Cevin Fisher & Scumfrog present sin-e-matic (5:54) (an odd tribal track with some chant-like vocals, not great, but builds up nicely and ends strong, leading us into the popular final track)
12. Give Me Your Love (valentino kanzyani mix)...Carl Cox & Hannah Robinson (6:01) (possibly one of the biggest club tracks on here, this is a stylish female vocal anthem. Great way to close the disc after some slowdown)"
