"it's amazing to me that these sounds are still being spun by DJs at big events, not to mention actually being recorded and remixed this way. That's not to say the songs aren't good, the sound is just SO dated. I've never seen a dance genre hang on this long--especially since dance is one of the most progressive genres around. Anyway, this disc has some great divas (Kristine W, India, Debby Holiday, Celeda, Maya), and some annoying cover version instead of the original dance mixes of the hits (Jennifer Hudson, Madonna). There's even a track by Charo! Wow. There's also male vocal (Deep Step), and trancier instrumental (DJ Lucerox). And if you can't find any of these tracks on CD anywhere else, at least they are pretty long here. If you're still listening to classic sounds of artists like Amber and Deborah Cox and remixers like Hex Hector, Junior Vasquez and Tony Moran, then you should love this disc.
