"Stylistically, this is somewhere between "Mine and Yours" and "Indiana", with typically crafted songs, sensitive arrangements and superb singing. Singer/songwriters don't come any better thasn David Mead and he's long overdue a lot more success. This CD is especially worth having since it's so cheap! There's lot's more info about him including guitar tabs etc at www.dreamawaythemiles.com and www.mineandyours.com, as well as his official site www.davidmead.com."
Pop music for people who have given up on chart music

"With a more lush production than Indiana, this CD recalls the feel of the "Mine and Yours" album and to my ears benefits from it. Although short at six tracks, quality is never an issue and after a couple of spins you'll find yourself waking with the melody line from "only a dream" or the title track running through your brain. This is pop music in a classic sense, for people who have given up on chart music and as with all of Mr Meads' albums makes you wonder how mainstream acceptance can be far away....."
