Pot, Protest, Peace, Pigs! David Peel is the Best!

"Long time fan of David Peel, and this album has it all.
A product of the 60's - the message is just as timely today (Antiwar, peace, Yo cops: the oink, oink song is for you!, Forget Republicans and Democrats - it's about the people man!) . The dialogue interspersed throughout the album is laugh out loud funny.
It's not something you would likely hear on the airwaves - but it should be heard! So lock the doors, fluff up the bean bag, light up a number and turn it up!... "And the Rest is History"!"
FUN BUT DATED

"I had these two albums on vinyl in the Sixties and had a lot of fun with them. (Especially shocking the neighbors). Some one stole the albums so I was glad to get them on CD. But, now they see dated, silly and redundant. BUT, if you never heard them or want to take a trip down memory lane, this CD can be a lot of fun..

Fun Stuff

"This album doesn't have the greatest technical musicianship, but it is definitely fun to listen to. It is two albums in one. I had the first one way back when it came out, and I loved it then. It is New York counter-culture at its nose-thumbing best, and it makes protest fun. I think David Peel was interviewed in 'Playboy' around 1969."
