?The Sound of Praise? is a compilation of original praise and worship songs, written in 2001, with the exception of "God's Amazing Grace" and "Jesus, Take My Heart", which were written in 1998. "Legacy of Life" is a tribute to David?s parents, Bryan and Betty Rowell. The song was written for their 50th wedding anniversary, which was celebrated in December 2001. ? The Sound Of Praise? is the fifth release for David. In addition to "David Rowell and the Reaction", there is David and Renee's "Stay With the Word" in 1994, SEACOAST CHURCH'S "First Wednesday v.2" in 1998, and "Songs From the Summit" released in 2000 (from Summit Church in Columbia).
