Synopsis
Product Description D.O.C. does it again!! With their first EP Swingin the Chain already a success, Dawn of Correction pulverizes you again with a barrage of metal riffs, sick rhythms and aggressive vocals on their first full length album Dead Hand Control. Ech on bass welcomed new members to the D.O.C. family since its last album. He's remained the key foundation for all D.O.C. tunes, making sure the grounded old skool feel is maintained throughout the craziness his fellow band-mates create on a daily basis. Chris Nat on vocals came from a very established Circle of Fear and before that was Final Prayer. He's spent years refining what is now a harsh, quick, throat-bleeding approach to screaming, which gives Dawn of Correction its razor edge. Alongside him are Rich Tornetta on drums and Giulio Kitao on guitar. These two maniacs played in a folk rock band called Cleetus way back circa 2001. Here they proceeded to stick metal riffs where they clearly didn't belong... they both were destined to do something heavier, faster and with a whole lot more balls. Giulio (or Zen Buddha as he's affectionately known) comes from a classically trained background where he studied violin and continued on to later in his career master the 7 string guitar. He brings a well rounded shredding ability the likes of many famous guitar gods before him. Pulling everything together with Ech is Rich on drums who up until a few years ago never played in a metal band. This was quickly remedied when he got behind the kit with the rest of the D.O.C. family and began writing tunes. Rich is now a seasoned drummer in the metal realm with progressive and jazz influences adding a signature life to the metal riffs and add unique structure to each song. This album will rip out your lungs through your ribcage and beat you with them... figuratively speaking. Similar CDs |
