"The Dazzling Killmen are a force that was unstoppable until there breakup in 1994. They were the quintessential hard/jazz/core band that ever was. Many bands have tried to emulate them and very unsuccessfully. The Killmen released two full length records "Dig out the Switch" (which is a hard to find record) which was before Guitarist Tim Garrigan joined the band. The other was the Skin graft records classic "Face of Collapse". The album "Recuerda" is a fine piece of ctaloging the Killmen's short but brilliant career. It has everthing from their early singles (which includes a great version of PIL's Poptones) to the Skin Graft cassette only release "Live At Lounge Ax". It also includes never before released song at the end (a hidden track none the less). it includes different versions of Bottom Fedder that is brilliant. It also has a personal grade A rating from John Peel. One of the funnier moments in when they get a class of boys to introduces the Killmen at WNUR studios. Another interesting note is that Jeff Tweedy (Uncle Tupelo, Wilco) produced and played on ambient guitar on "Killing Fever". If you have never expierenced the Killmen before that is alright because no one has caught up to them yet.
